A map showing that HB1059's exclusion zones are significantly larger than simple 1,000 foot circles around prohibited areas such as schools, churches and school bus stops. The statute requires that the distance be measured from the outer boundary of the school, church or other prohibited area to the outer boundary of the registrant's property. This map illustrates that many houses that are more than 1,000 feet from a school bus stop are rendered off limits to people on the registry as a result of HB1059.
